First PC in the early 90's and it was an IBM 486, then first Internet surfing happened around 1994 using my father "fast" dial-up 28.8k. I don't have any clear idea about the first time, but, I'm sure, I was looking for games. At that time I was just 5 years old.
In 2011 after the Cisco CCNA I started my first job in an Italian Internet Service Provider based in Milan. In a rapid sequence of events from basic system administration, I got lucky and moved on OpenStack. It was the summer of 2011. A few years after, it turns out the OpenStack I've design and partially implemented was the biggest in Europe with advanced features and a multi-region topology, making it truly cloud.
Since that time and thanks to one of the most innovative company in the whole panorama, open source has been my main companion. Today my focus has shifted from cloud to telecom and specifically NFV architecture and once again it runs out Telco nowadays are more open source than what one could even think of.
