Hello! I'm a wife, mother, and lover of color, art, and fashion. I also choose to wear the hijab (Islamic head covering). For me, wearing hijab and dressing modestly is not a form of oppression, but instead a way to express my individual personality and style in my own way while not compromising my values. I've always had a fascination with fashion, however, after having kids I found myself in a rut, feeling frumpy. I decided that being a busy mother is NOT synonymous with being frumpy, and I had to get out of the t-shirts and sweat pants!! This blog is my quest to rediscover my fashion sense, and reconnect with my old fashionista self.
