My name is Sophie Gareau or Figareau, just like the opera (my parents felt inspired). A few years back I started writing a food blog called Figareau. I busted my a** off to make what I believed to be great and impressive recipes. But then came along 3 kids in 3 years … and that’s how my life changed and how I had to stop doing what I loved. Now that my youngest is over the breastfeeding, the sleepless nights and the infinite attention, I’m getting a little bit of my life back and I want to write again only this time, I’m expanding a little (although I try not to physically). I like everything pretty and fancy but since I’ve had kids I’ve had to change my ways and figure out how to still make things pretty and fancy but for a much cheaper price… and in way less time. With my writings and findings I hope to inspire you to cook, live and love. And oh yeah! I’ve been addicted to processed cheese slices ever since I can remember so grilled cheese have always been my favorite meal, only now I make them with all sorts of stinky cheeses. This is why I write for 3 kids and a grilled cheese.
