Dr. Paul Ryan

Paul earned his Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin in the School of Information with a focus on credibility judgments of information sources, affective computing, emotional design, human-computer interaction (HCI), and digital libraries. Paul also sports three undergraduate degrees: a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.S. in Mathematics, and a B.A. in English with a Philosophy minor.

Paul spends his spare time in the ocean, running with his dogs, hiking, and enjoying the odd video game, book, or movie. He is an avid cyclist, and his cyclocross is his preferred mode of transportation.
