Filipe Teles

I joined the University of Aveiro - Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences in 2006. Since 2010, I'm also acting as member of the Steering Committee of the Master in Public Administration programme offered by Universidade Católica (Porto). Collaborations as invited professor include Porto Business School, where I lecture Business Ethics (MBA). Coordinator of the “Strategy for Growth and Innovation of the Aveiro Region” (a partnership between the University of Aveiro and the Intermunicipal Community of Aveiro) - 2013 Co-coordinator of the Research Project “Territorial Alliances for Innovation” (2012-2013) Member of the Management Committee of the project “Local public sector reforms: an international comparison – LoPSeR”, COST Action IS1207, ISCH, COST-European Cooperation in Science and Technology (2013-2016) Coordinator of the Urbact Local Support Group of the Project “EUnivercities - Exploring the next generation partnerships between cities and universities” (Lead Partner Delft, NL) Joined the Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies, at the University of Aveiro, in 2008. With a PhD in Political Science, my work deals primarily with issues of Local Governance, Political Leadership and Public Policy.
