Born and raised in the former Portuguese enclave, and the son of the famed Macanese author and lawyer Henrique de Senna Fernandes, Filipe is a business consultant and marketing, PR & events professional with over 20 years of combined experience across a wide range of industries, including tourism, special events, entertainment, telecommunications, advertising and digital media.

Filipe once worked with the Macau Government Tourist Office as a Senior Business Tourism Executive, promoting the city as a MICE destination and connecting businesses both locally and internationally. More recently, he was VP of Business Development and Public Relations at the leading spirits-and-wine distribution company in Macau before embarking on his own and independent business ventures. He is the Founding and Managing Partner at Interface Consulting (Asia) Limited.

Filipe holds an MBA from City University of Seattle, Washington, USA and a BA in Economics from Simon Fraser University, Canada.
