What’s up, I’m Filippus. I’m a student living in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am a fan of music, arts, and food. I’m also interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. I am currently a third year education student at the University of Johannesburg where I am majoring in English and ICT. My interests include music, arts, literature and computer science. I current work as a music teacher at two music schools in my off time. This aids me in my teaching experience while also stimulating my interests. I am fascinated by the way in which technology is advancing at a great speed. I wish to learn how to effectively use these tools to my advantage in the teaching field. I believe that technology should be seen as a tool to advance education rather than being seen as an obstacle that distracts learners. There is a time and place for everything, And it is time that technology finds its way into the classroom.
