William L. Fillmore

After receiving his Juris Doctorate at the University of Chicago, William L. Fillmore began his legal career in Denver, Colorado with the regional law firm of Holland & Hart. He later practiced in Colorado Springs, and then in Logan, Utah with Olson & Hoggan. He stepped out of private practice in 1986 to serve as Associate General Counsel for Brigham Young University.
In 1991, Bill opened the Utah County office for the Salt Lake City law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy, serving as managing attorney for three years before forming his own firm in Provo in 1994, now known as Fillmore Spencer LLC.
At Fillmore Spencer LLC, we are devoted to building long-term relationships with our clients and with the community. We have served as legal counsel to America’s Freedom Festival at Provo since 1996, and our business community sponsorships include Corporate Alliance and the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum.
