Finding Gail

About a month ago I was driving home having dropped my kids at school and a song came on the radio that prompted me to create this blog.

The song, “Once In a Lifetime” by Talking Heads.

I’m sure many of us have sung along to this song and can associate with the words “Well, how did I get here?”. For me, this line played in my mind for the rest of the day, week, month. Life doesn’t always turn out how you pictured it, I get that but some of us lose the picture of who we are.
I can honestly say I’m not sure who I am right at this point in time. I know I’m a loving mum and a doting and loyal wife but the Gail I used to know as been missing for 20 years.

My mission is to find her again, one step at a time…
