When I was much younger, I really didn't understand as much as I thought I did.

It took me a few relationships to find that out. The less I understood, the less value I had for myself, and others. That's how things went for along time.

But I decided to try and understand. I had to open my mind, my heart, to why things were the way they were, instead of how I felt they should be.

I began to listen, and with that, I began to understand.

And although my adventure is not complete, and there is much to learn, I am understanding.

And for some mysterious reason, my life has a value that I have never experienced before.
