Ann-Marie Polozova

With an education in psychology and design, Ann-Marie is naturally interested in the overlap of these two fields, particularly in branding & identity. She believes design is a valuable tool for communication on global issues, and as a global citizen applies her skills towards this. Highly influenced by modern-era Scandinavian design, her design aesthetic embraces clean lines, simplicity, breathing room, and practicality. Her work mostly takes the form of print, using vector shapes and geometry-based pattern as her building blocks.

Ann-Marie received a head start in global citizenship: she is half-Finnish, half-Bolivian, Canadian-born, yet raised in Malaysia and Indonesia, with summers always spent in Finland, where she draws much of her inspiration. She settled into leafy, drizzly Portland, Oregon, U.S.A for her studies and lives there still.
