Joe Fiochetta

Hi, I’m Joe.

I’m a senior advancement executive with more than 30 years of experience helping colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations strengthen constituent engagement and philanthropic support.

Over the course of my career, I have led integrated advancement enterprises spanning fundraising, alumni engagement, campaign strategy, corporate and foundation relations, and advancement operations. I partner closely with presidents, boards, and senior leadership teams to align advancement strategy with institutional priorities and build sustainable cultures of philanthropy.

Most recently, I served as Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs at Delaware Valley University, where I led the advancement program and helped launch a $50 million comprehensive campaign. Previously, I served as Vice President for Advancement at Lock Haven University and held senior leadership roles with the Penn State Alumni Association at Pennsylvania State University, working within one of the largest alumni communities in higher education.

Earlier in my career, I founded New Hope Communications, advising universities and national nonprofit organizations on campaign planning, engagement strategy, and governance alignment. A consistent theme throughout my work has been connecting alumni engagement, volunteer leadership, and fundraising strategy to strengthen long-term institutional growth.

I enjoy working with mission-driven institutions and leaders who are focused on strengthening their organizations and the communities they serve.
