I am a Lecturer in Music Education at Deakin University Geelong

I am interested in understanding the interrelation between intuitive pedagogy and working knowledge and why generalist primary teachers make the decisions they do in regard to the inclusion of musical activities.

I believe that many teachers want to use music in their lessons and the learning experiences but they lack confidence. Time is also a factor.
