Fiona Barnes

Fiona is a qualified coach, focused on career development for individuals and executives.

Establishing her own coaching practice, Fiona is now following a life-long ambition to help others uncover their own passions and motivations in order to build the careers of their dreams. Fiona is also a licensed RenewYou trainer - a personal development course written by women for women.

From 2008 until the beginning of 2014, Fiona led the Organizational Effectiveness & Development function for HP Software Field Operations. In this role Fiona combined her passion for people & career development with her unique skill-set. She has a degree in Management Studies and is also a trained Appreciative Enquiry (AI) facilitator.

Fiona has over 15 years of management & leadership experience in both a local & virtual organizations. Fiona was instrumental in establishing the HP UK Women’s network and is actively supporting Diversity across EMEA within HP. Fiona has a wealth of experience from her career with HP Software which began in 1995. Past roles include Supply Chain Management to Project & Program Management, as well as Compliance Management.

Fiona also provided careers coaching to individuals within HP and recently managed a 2 year world-wide graduate rotation program.

Externally, Fiona is part of the Connecting Women in Technology project team, bringing together 8 blue-chip technology organizations to promote development and retention of women in the Technology Sector.
