Fiona Panther is a PhD student at the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics of the Australian National University. Her work is both theoretical and observational, and converges on faint Type Ia supernovae.

She is a member of CAASTRO, DES (the Dark Energy Survey) and OzDES.

In addition to her research she has an extensive outreach and teaching portfolio, as well as professional experience in data analysis and network theory.
