Mr. Soffer became an active member of the Miami-Dade community through his participation in the University of Miami School of Law Center for Ethics Street Law clinical workshop. During his two years working as a Street Law clinical fellow, Mr. Soffer mentored and educated numerous classrooms of at-risk youth at The Bay Point Academy Juvenile Correctional Facility in Kendall, Florida
