I have a natural desire to improve myself to be the very best I can be. With a curiosity around the mind and body connection from an early age, I found myself drawn to Martial Arts and later developed an interest in pursuing my potential as a Triathlete. This evolved into teaching and finding a passion for coaching others within a sporting context. My studying in this field continued with qualifying as an Executive Coach and Leadership Mentor, Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Sport Nutritionist and Fitness Instructor.I have had some amazing opportunities and wonderful experiences exploring the mental and physical performance potential of the human body from developing meditation techniques in the Himalayas, studying Ashtanga Yoga in India to hiking on remote islands off South Korea. In my corporate life I have used my desire for self-improvement to have a very progressive and successfully career in Civil Engineering in which I have project managed major engineering schemes, driven service improvement and team performance.Six years ago I took the step to blend my corporate skills and achievements with my personal coaching, mentoring and teaching experience. I merged these skills to work as an independent consultant helping individuals, teams and organisations develop leadership skills and capabilities to improve workplace performance and create sustained lifestyle behaviour change.Initially based in South Korea I worked mainly with directors, leaders and emerging talent across the Asia region including Japan, Malaysia, India, China, Korea and Hong Kong developing resilient leadership skills.I returned to live in the UK in 2013 and since then I have been working across various industries providing coaching and training.I have had numerous personal sporting achievements over the years from representing Great Britain at the World Karate Championships to competing in Ironman Triathlons. What I have realised is that my greatest achievement and personal satisfaction has come through coaching and mentoring others to achieve their personal and professional goals.I have a genuine desire and passion for helping people discover and develop their unique strengths and talents in order to realise their full potential. My coaching and mentoring philosophy is eloquently captured in the quote “You cannot shine a light on another’s path without brightening your own”.
