"The world's greatest achievers have been those who have always stayed focused on their goals and have been consistent in their efforts." -- Roopleen
Achieving a life of optimal fitness is not just a phase -- its a lifestyle change. Their comes a point in life where one feels their existence is only satisfactory. It may take a hardship, a relationship, or a life-changing event, but that "ah-ha" moment is inevitable. Choosing what you do with that moment is the game-changer.
My "ah-ha" moment was when I realized my one-year college graduation anniversary was just around the corner -- and I had nothing to show for it. Receiving my 65 dollar hardcopy diploma only satisfied my postgrad life for a few weeks. Now, seven months later and 15 pounds more my moment has arrived. I am the second heaviest I have ever been. Although my weight might not be much, I am still unsatisfied.
My blog, FitVic, will be my public diary to help educate, grow, and inspire myself and others towards a better self-worth and life through a passion for fitness and health. Researching and writing about all aspects of this lifestyle change will not only enhance my physical being, but boost my mental strength. I know once my journey is underway everything else will fall into place. I encourage everyone to find what makes them feel fulfilled and happy. For me, its fitness.
