Signs & Symptoms of Kidney Failure:

1. Dark urine

2. Weakness
If you have weakness or fatigue, check with your doctor. You may need to take extra fluids or eat nutritious foods. Your kidneys work hard to filter out wastes and excess water from your blood. If they don’t work properly, you could become dehydrated.

3. Headaches
Headaches are often caused by dehydration. Drink plenty of water and drink juices or sodas only if you’re thirsty. Avoid caffeine.

4. Nausea
Nausea is feeling sick to your stomach. It’s normal to feel nauseous after drinking alcohol or taking certain medications. But if nausea lasts longer than 24 hours, contact your doctor.

5. Vomiting
Vomiting is throwing up. It happens when your stomach produces acid and pushes food back up through your esophagus. To prevent vomiting, stay well-hydrated. Eat small meals frequently throughout the day. Don’t skip meals.

6. Shortness of breath
Shortness of breath means having trouble breathing. Call your doctor right away if you experience shortness of breath.

7. Jaundice
Jaundice is the yellowing of the skin and eyes. Contact your doctor if you develop jaundice.
