Multiple sclerosis is a chronic illness that I've been dealing with since the 1980's. For everything that modern medicine knows about MS, there is twice as much that is still not understood. For example, I was told by various doctors for over 10 years that all of my ever changing symptoms were the result of stress from a bad marriage. Well, after getting out of the marriage, the symptoms continued to worsen until an MRI was finally done in 2001.

After working in the graphic design industry for over 15 years for a major non-profit organization in New York, as well as starting my own Long Island based graphic design business in 2001, I felt that it would be rewarding to use my skills to spread multiple sclerosis awareness.Now that fatigue and cognitive problems from MS have recently forced me to go on disability, I want more than ever to use my skills to educate others on the realities - good and bad - of living with MS.You can see more about the outreach work that I am trying to accomplish by checking out my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/fixmsnow
