Originally from Singapore, Faith Kenton received her B.A. in Music Education and M.M. in Choral Conducting in Los Angeles. In addition to having received master certification in the Hungarian Kodály methodology, she has studied with prominent conductors including Don Neuen, Charlene Archibeque and John Sutton. Her teaching experience spans all age levels and she specializes in teaching aural skills/music theory, conducting, voice and piano to elementary through university graduate students. Ms. Kenton has also trained music educators in the Kodály methodology. Other highlights of her professional career include conducting Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem, performing Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil, Robert Ray's Gospel Mass and training the choristers of the world-renowned Los Angeles Children's Chorus, which perform regularly with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Opera and in other venues around the world.
