Jeffrey Flanagan started playing bass guitar at the age of 8. His first group was his father's quartet group, the Camden Jubilees. After playing for them for ten years he then decided to further his career as a musician. Jeffrey was determined to follow his dreams and become a national musician. His first national group was the Jackson Southernaires (quartet). He continued traveling with many other national groups. He traveled all over the world playing gospel music. Jeffrey later decided to take his career a little further and join national blues artist Willie Clayton. Jeffrey has traveled to every state in the US and traveled to Russia, Germany and London sharing his gift with the world. He has shared the stage with other artist such as R&B icon Donell Jones, soul singer Ann Nesby, Rev. Al Green and a host of others. Jeffrey was casted in the recently released James Brown movie "Get On Up"' which came out in August 2014. As he continues to travel the world, he joined his God brother Mr Sipp "The Mississippi Blues Child"(Castro Coleman) and won 1st place at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN. Jeffrey also has won national musician of the year four times in the past 10 years at the Jackson Music Awards. With God, hard word and practice Jeffrey has become one of the worlds finest musician.
