Flavio Ferri-Benedetti

Born in 1983 (Scandiano, Italy)
Flavio dedicates to performing as a countertenor in concert and opera, teaching voice and Italian diction to students in Castellón (E) and Basel (CH), researching in the field of baroque musicology, making critical editions of unknown repertoire, translating and giving linguistic assessment especially (but not only ;-) to singers, musicologists and publishers.
After studying Translation (UJI) and Singing (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis), Flavio is currently finishing a PhD in Literature (Univ. València) and is a guest teacher of Italian Diction for Singers at the Schola Cantorum.
