As a PhD researcher at the University of Antwerp (in completion phase), I investigate how improvisation can manifest in leadership as an intentional dialogical event — with the Jazz Leadership Laboratory as empirical anchor. The dissertation introduces "Transformative Deviation" as an original concept describing the moment when improvisation moves from following the lick to releasing it.
