I moved to Tasmania from the United States over seven years ago to meet and marry my best friend. Moving here and marrying my best friend were the two second best decisions I have ever made in my life and one I will never regret. Anyone who really knows me, knows what the greatest decision I ever made in my life was.

I am a uni student who is studying to become a teacher/tutor as teaching is my passion. I have wanted to become a teacher since I was 14 years old and am now in the second year of chasing my dream. I have had the privilege of being a TasTAFE mentor, volunteer tutor, and a voluteer migrant English tutor. I also did my first work experience as a student teacher at a grade 7-12 year school and loved it! It is my hope to work as a teacher's aide or tutor while completing my degree so I can continue to gain experience in doing what I love.

I love it when I am teaching students and I see the moment they learn or understand something they didn't before or something they did not think they could do before. I love encouraging students and showing them that they can be so much more than they think they can be and that they CAN accomplish their dreams and life goals.

I am also a uni student ambassador who believes in helping and supporting any student that needs or wants assistance, support or a friend who cares to talk to and hang with. My uni and TAFE friends are all family to me and I love them dearly. I am their friend for life and very blessed to have them in my life.

"Who Am I?" is one of my most favourite songs by Casting Crowns and I feel it describes perfectly who I am for anyone who cares to really know me.
