As a child, Fleurene spent every spare moment of her evenings browsing the clothing catalogs from local department stores, often gasping over the outfits which wrapped the models’ bodies ever so perfectly. Her love for fashion branched from there, and has stuck with her ever since.

Fleurene’s parents were much too busy to take care of her; her mother being a professional dancer and her father being a lazy drunk ass. Without supervision from her parents, she learnt to become independent at a young age. She would spend her weekends running through the streets of Paris, furiously snapping pictures of clothing items that she thought were appealing to the eye.

By the age of twenty, she was out of university and prepared to take on the world. Well, not really. Fleurene wasn’t the most academic person at school, and lacked the crucial skills to reach the jobs that she wanted. Mathematics? Flunked. Science? Ha, what a joke. The only passion that she ever truly had was fashion, which led to her opening a fashion-based blog where she would post information about details. She would also post videos of her talking to the camera ― vlogs, they call it ― and give pep talks to people through the computer screen.

As each day passes by, the number of followers and viewers increased, and so did her fame. However, the money earned from the blog was not enough to provide her with a substantial lifestyle. Whilst searching for a job in the papers, she noticed a large advertisement which screamed out at her- “Needed: Club DJ!” Good music, good money ― what else could she want?

Two years down the track, Fleurene is still balancing herself between two jobs ― a full-time blogger and a part-time DJ at the local club.
