Introducing Fleur

Fleur Revell is former award winning journalist whose 21 year career has spanned television, magazines, newspapers and radio. After a successful career as a reporter, journalist and prime-time television presenter she launched her own PR agency Impact PR.

Fleur's Journalism Experience

After completing her degree at Victoria University Wellington and then a Certificate in Journalism at Wellington Polytech she landed her first job at a regional newspaper before moving to Auckland where she began working in magazines and newspapers. It was during this time her journalistic ability was rewarded with three awards including feature writer of the year, crime and justice and human relations writer. Fleur was known by her peers as having an enviable list of contacts and a unique ability to secure even the most difficult interviews, she reported on some of the most high profile stories in New Zealand.

Fleur's Time in New Zealand Television

She moved into television and was made a producer and reporter on the new TVNZ Breakfast show. During her time at Television New Zealand she worked on One News, Tonight, Sportsnight and Breakfast and produced and reported on local, international and sports stories.

Fleur later took up presenting roles at both TVNZ and TV3 with her credits including several prime time shows; Car Crazy, Revell with a Cause, Destination Planet Earth, Whose House is it Anyway?

Along with her presenting work Fleur continued to work as a freelance journalist with her work published in titles including; NZ House & Garden, Style and The New Zealand Herald.

Fleur works across a number of blue chip clients which include some of the world’s most successful brands. Her PR skills were recently recognised when she won the prestigious Gold Award at CAANZ for Best Long-Term Strategic campaign.

Fleur is routinely sought out by New Zealand media organisations for commentary on industry issues including, branding, crisis management and celebrity sponsorships and is respected among her peers.

As well as a successful career in public relations Fleur Revell is a keen supporter of many charities and is a former Board Member of Variety The Children’s Charity.
