Bay Area Flex League

Bay Area Flex League was started by a group of former pros and lifelong tennis lovers who wanted to build something different—something by players, for players.

We’re creating a community that breaks away from the usual options: pricy tournaments, rigid schedules, and systems where your rating determines your worth. That’s not us.

We run on trust and the honor system—players sign up based on our suggested level, and there’s no rating impact or personal record tracking. That means you get to compete with others who believe they’re at your level—without fear of being “too good”/"not good enough" or punished for a bad day. It keeps things fun and recreational, but still gives you that real competitive edge.

We believe tennis should be competitive, accessible, and welcoming—regardless of your background or ranking. Your past results don’t define your future here. What matters is your love for the game and your drive to improve. That’s what we celebrate.

Our league runs all year across the Bay Area using a single-elimination format, with 7-day match windows. You schedule matches on your own time, meet new opponents every round, and play to win—simple as that.

Most of our events are completely free or cost just enough to cover basic expenses—like court fees and champion prizes. We’re here to grow the game, not profit off it. That’s only possible because of our amazing players and local sponsors who believe in the mission.
