Flexx is a songwriter, producer, and performer currently living in Atlanta, GA. His musical style is a mixture of hip-hop and Caribbean flavor which makes him a standout artist in the music industry. He writes, produce, and perform his own music making him a triple threat in the music industry.

“Flexx” Simeus was born in Gonaives, Haiti. His passion for music began at the age of twelve (12), where he also wrote his first song for a local talent show. A year later, at the age of thirteen (13) he joined his father in the United States, his love for music continued to be a constant conflict between him and his father. At the age of sixteen (16), Flexx was forced to be on his own when his father kicked him out of the house because he feared his sons love of music would lead to drugs, jail, and a bad influence on his younger siblings. After graduating high school, Flexx began a musical group call the “New Creation” a Caribbean group that performed at local night clubs in South Florida. To seek better opportunities in the music industry he relocated to California where he was signed to Raphael Saadiq at Pookie Entertainment in North Hollywood. There he worked with artist such as Lyfe Jennings, Kelis, Jennifer Hudson, Truth Hurts, Teedra Moses just to name a few.

While in Hollywood he met Film Producer Jean-Claude Lamarre, he fell in love with Flexx music and acquired his expertise to compose for his upcoming films. The duo would go on to work on over ten (10) movies together such as Color of the Cross, 20 Century Fox (2006); Nora’s Hair Salon 2: A Cut Above, 20 Century Fox Home Entertainment (2008); Brothers in Arms, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (2005), and Go for Broke 2, Warning Films (2005) to name a few. Flexx sting in Hollywood would not last due to health issues he had to bid Hollywood adieu. Though he composed on various films scores but his love for writing, producing, and performing music never perished.

While on hiatus Flexx continued to write, produce, and sharpen his musical skills. Flexx is now in the studio recording and producing new records and feel he is at the top of his game and can’t wait for the music industry to see what he has to offer.
