Florentin Lenoir

I was born in 1987, in Orléans, France, where I spent my childhood with my family, listening to music and dreaming of going to Asia one day. Later, I moved to Aix-en-Provence.for high schoo.l I decided to study Management at ESC Rennes Business School. It is an international business school which granted men an opportunity to study abroad.

I was motivated to make my dream come true. I bought a ticket to spend one semester in Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines. There I finally found myself in Asia exploring the different cultures. I had such a great experience that I decided to extend my stay for a one-year-long internship in a French-Filipino company specialized in producing pearls and high-end jewelry. Eighteen months in the Philippines taught me how to adapt myself to a new environment and different culture, as well as creating opportunities that lead to unique experiences. Moreover, I travelled up and down to Asia, visiting more than 10 countries (Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong-Kong, Malaysia, China...),. It really inspired me and earned me photography skills. The time in Manila strengthened my interests for South Korea as I noticed that the Korean Culture was growing bigger and bigger every day in Asia, straightening the lead to the Japanese one.

My enthusiasm for Asia furthered me from returning to France and gravitated me to South Korea where I spent one semester in Hanyang University, What fascinated me in South Korea was its Entertainment industry and the culture..Seoul brought me more than expected: good friends to rely on, amazing experiences such as teaching French and volunteering in an orphanage, memories I will always cherish.

As I look at my future, many questions remain. But I know that great things are sure to come.
