After earning her BA(Hons) in Music at The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the tutelege of Wong Kin Yu, FLORA LAM is currently a first year Master student at Royal Academy of Music studying with Susan Landale. She also studies improvisation with Gerard Brooks and organ pedagorgy with Anne Marsden Thomas, and participated in master classes by many renowned musicians including Bine Bryndorf, Jacques van Oortmerssen, Bernard Winsemius,Dong-ill Shin etc.
Flora actively appears in both the performance and liturgical scene. She is recently featured in concerts with Chung Chi Wind Orchestra and Chung Chi Choir at the Lee Hsyan Concert Hall (Hong Kong), educational concert in Shenzhen Concert Hall (China) and a performance in Royal Festival Hall (London). Flora is grateful to have served as an organist in HKSKH Holy Trinity Cathedral and St Barnabas’ Church in Hong Kong, as well as Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in London.
Besides, Flora has shown enthusiasm in choral music. During her study at CUHK, she receieved regular vocal and choral conducting training. She was a member of the Sacred Singers before going to the UK, and is currently in charge of the children’s choir of St Paul’s Church London.
