As Chief Marketing Officer at Kindred Health, he steered the company’s full-funnel marketing strategy—spanning growth, retention, brand, product, and performance—boosting customer lifetime value, deepening loyalty, and accelerating nationwide expansion. Under his leadership, Kindred forged high-impact co-marketing partnerships with leading pharmaceutical companies and became a benchmark for modern health marketing in the Philippines.
At 917Ventures, Carlo served as Senior Venture Builder, where he founded, launched, and scaled PetPal, the country’s first petcare superapp. He led the venture from incubation to spinoff, shaping its product, marketing, and operational roadmap. Prior to this, as Head of Growth and Digital Marketing, Carlo developed growth playbooks and go-to-market strategies for a diverse portfolio of startups in sectors such as e-commerce, SaaS, healthtech, fintech, EV, and B2B services—earning him 917Ventures’ first Employee of the Year distinction.
His earlier roles include leading digital and performance marketing at Globe Telecom for brands like GMovies, RUSH, and Globe Labs, and serving as Director of Data & Insights at Evident Communications, where he drove measurable impact for top brands through data-driven campaigns and strategic storytelling.
A strong believer in the power of interdisciplinary thinking, Carlo blends deep expertise in SEO, analytics, lifecycle marketing, product design, and creative strategy. His leadership and impact have been recognized by Tatler’s Gen T List as a Leader of Tomorrow, and through multiple marketing awards and industry honors.
Carlo holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from De La Salle University, and completed the Accelerated General Management Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
