Florence Rizzo
She is the founder of Syn Lab, a creative lab for social change dedicated to social innovation from design to implementation, especially in the field of education.
She worked with Ashoka, a global network of innovative Social Entrepreneurs for more than 5 years to contribute to its launch in France. She launched IMPACT competition, a new program to support Citizen Sector Organizations to scale up and evaluate their social impact. She was also in charge of the Fellows and the Business Entrepreneurs' Networks of Ashoka.
She holds a Master in Political Science and International Relations and a MBA from ESSEC Business School with a focus on social entrepreneurship. She also studied a year in Finland, an interesting country regarding its education system.
She has created several student organizations and dedicated lots of time to travel abroad in order to develop projects for social change (rural development in Peru with FAO, human rights in Mexico with UNESCO, cultural development in Tibet, microfinance in Haiti and Mali, new education in India....)
She was also part of a French parliamentary mission working on the impact of new technologies on pedagogy. The Report was handled to the French Ministry of Research in February 2012.
