Florence is a Marketing & Branding Strategist in Urbanspace Sdn Bhd. In Urbanspace, she owns up to projects such as The Row - a development that blends the charisma of pre-war architecture with modern functionalities and reflecting creative adaptation of existing buildings, as well as the upcoming South Block that is expected to be launched in December 2018. She is responsible of strategising and executing marketing plans as well as positioning the direction of the brand.
Florence managed the marketing and business developing aspects of Maria’s Steakcafe, and later ventured into starting and the branding of a subsidiary brand called The Foodsmith Company. In both brands, she studied the brands to understand the consumers’ needs and wants, then strategise campaigns, events, branding ideas and ads to the betterment of both the businesses.
She was an Account Executive in Text100 Malaysia, whereby she supported her clients in most forms of communication aspects. Her key clients were Hong Kong Tourism Board, Lazada Malaysia, Procter & Gamble, GeoTech, Vserv, and William Grant & Sons Distiller Ltd.
Florence fulfilled one of the industrial training in Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, and there she gained acute knowledge in copywriting, event planning, and was part of the communication team for the Volkswagen Golk Mk-VI launch.
She joined the marketing team in IKEA Malaysia as part of the second industrial training, and had equipped her with experiences in developing and implementing communication strategies for the launch of the new IKEA Cheras, in which she was responsible of the coordination, follow-ups and the execution of advertising, public relations and event materials.
