Florian Ma Ho Yin is a awarded artist form "LVMH Young Creative Artists Award" in 2009; his video work Les Demoiselles de Avignon was a finalist piece at the "2009-2010 Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Award".
Florian is the selected contemporary artist to be the unique Star of K11 Art Mall and has just been chosen by Perspective Magazine as one of the Design Stars of Tomorrow in their annual 40 Under 40 programme 2011.
Florian graduated in Fine Art Mater Degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology , he embarked on further studies at École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts , Paris.
In 2008 Ma was invited to be a resident artist in Portland, USA, where he also held exhibitions.
Ma has been engaged in design, painting and art installations, photography and video art. His works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Taiwan, United States and Paris.
