I have always found music fascinating and magical ever since I was little, whether it was hearing a pop song from the radio or orchestral music from films. At 8 years old, I started taking piano lessons, discovered an even greater appreciation for music through the years. Now, I am a student at the University of Santo Tomas, studying Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Asst. Prof. Anthony Y. Say. I am taking up my Minor in Composition as well, under the tutelage of Mr. John Luke Jose, MM.

Music is something that moves the souls of the people. As a performer and composer, I enjoy the music I make so that those who listen would also enjoy music and experience its wonder. Performing piano onstage is one way I do this, and I have performed in recitals and concerts such as the Rising Star Recital Series at Steinway Boutique Manila in 2022 and the 34th Sampung Daliri Concert at UST in 2024.

I find music extraordinary that it is one way that we express ourselves, and feel emotions that bring beauty in our lives. It is composed of the thoughts and feelings of the human psyche. Music is like different kinds of flowers–different songs and pieces may be different in style and genres yet are beautiful in their own way: from Mozart to Chopin to Britney Spears to Joe Hisaishi to Ben&Ben. The beauty of music is that it takes a journey of knowledge and experience to do, yet it is also fun and fulfilling! That is what I dedicate my life to be curious about and keep exploring.
