I am a little unsure if this will ever actually get published, but thought trying and failing is better than not trying at all. I recently lost my job and feel as if I am at a major crossroad in my life. Up until this point, I feel like I have been just gathering bits and pieces of knowledge and storing it away to do something great one day. I have realized that I no longer want to continue down the road I am on. I don't just want to work for someone else, I want to work for myself. I want to have the freedom in which this life intended for me. I want to seek the greatness I am destined for, and share that with the world, from my perspective, through my eyes. So I thought I would blog. I love to bake, I have been addicted to Pinterest since you had to be invited to join, there is craftiness that runs through my veins in more ways than one, lol. I am a wife, a mother, a beloved auntie to 9 nieces and nephews and amateur baker. My specialties involve anything with fruit! In my recently former job, I make everyone's birthday cake, which I enjoyed very much. Each person chose what they wanted and I would make it, everything from cherry lattice pie to personal family recipes like Ann's Fudgy Fudge. They were not fancy (I have yet to try fondant), but they were delicious! My plan is to share these recipes and tips I have learned along the way to those who also share a love for baking!
