Flowcastings Business
Trebur, Germany
Headquartered in Trebur, Germany, just outside of Frankfurt, Flowcastings specializes in the casting of components for low pressure and high pressure turbines in military and commercial aircraft engines. Established in 2011, Flowcastings is currently led by its president and CEO, Dan Abbasi.
The company’s advanced metallurgical, engineering, and manufacturing tools and processes are geared towards the further improvement of the fuel efficiency and performance of aircraft engines. Flowcastings uses nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys in the manufacture of turbine blades and vanes. In addition, Flowcastings excels in rapid core manufacturing and using innovative manufacturing processes that do not require costly and long-lead-time die tooling.
As an emerging leader in advancing process design for the manufacture of aviation parts, Flowcastings earned the EN 9100:2009 and ISO 9001-2008 certifications and is working toward special process certifications from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP). Leveraging the deep industry experience of the company’s engineering and R&D teams, Flowcastings continues to develop pathbreaking manufacturing processes to enable the casting of the most complex and intricate components sought by jet engine manufacturers.
