The Flower 4 the Children project is about remembering the children in Washington, DC who have lost their lives to homocide. The goal is to create a fiber floral memorial in the District of Columbia as a yarn bomb in the fall of 2013. This began as a project for knit in public week 2013 and has grown into a major project involving knitting stores and scores of fiber art group in the metropolitian area.
