Rajkumar Rajamanickam

Rajkumar R is a talented flautist, vocalist and music composer based in Pondicherry, Puducherry. He was introduced to Carnatic music in early childhood by his father "Kalaimamani" K.Rajamanickam.
Inspired to play flute and encouraged by Stephen Thomas (Flautist) based in Paris, France. Rajkumar learned to play flutes like bansuri, recorder and key-flute by himself. He also finished five grades in Piano, Trinity College, London and followed a course on Mirudhangam for 4 years. Rajkumar composes film scores, fusion & world music with Indian and Western instruments.
He has performed concerts in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Switzerland, London, France and La-Reunion.
He recently released his first devotional album named 'OM SAI NATHA". Rajkumar finished his sound engineering and manages a sound recording studio "RED Media Studios" Pondicherry.
