Kim Murray McDonald

Creator and advocator of community-based art - dialogical art - in which the role of the audience is drastically different from that of traditional art forms. Instead of simply reacting to already created art, the audience is invited into an ongoing dialogue and plays an active role in the creation of art.

I'm a storyteller and I really enjoy engaging the community, empowering them to collaborate. I hope to catalyze positive social change - specifically related to women's issues, parenting and media literacy. I also enjoy affecting life change - loving yourself, believing in dreams and making them happen.

I love coolaborative (started out as a typo, but I kinda like it) partnerships. And I embrace the idea of interdependence, that we are all interconnected, learning from each others' experiences and the gigantic global brain that is the internet.

One of my dreams is to inspire others. Some others are to learn how to surf, live in Paris, and go to the moon. My ultimate goal is live authentically, in the moment, while working on projects that I'm passionate about. Also? I will finish an Ironman in 2014.
