Flutter Lyon has garnered quite a reputation as somewhat of a ‘Renaissance woman’ for her work over the last 10 years across a spectrum of creative disciplines – from fine art to fashion design, experiential design, live performance and curation – in Sydney, Melbourne and New York.

With her work primarily concerned with perception; self-identification and celebration; the process of human courage; and the finding of joy in everyday life, she is passionate about communicating clear and resonating ideas to her audience, through unforgettable experiences and multi-sensory engagement.

In April 2011 she launched an exciting new art form, the Ink-Pressing, and established an independent studio and gallery space, Flutter Lyon Open Studio in Redfern, Sydney Australia. The space plays host to ongoing Ink-Pressing showings, Pressing Sessions for Individuals and Business Teams and Set Yourself Free & Flutter Workshops.

Lyon is also the Artistic Ambassador of the neuroscience organisation, About My Brain (aboutmybrain.com) and the 2012 International Brain Art Awards (brainartexhibition.com).

This project is a brilliant marriage between the fields of fine art, science and experiential design; wrapped up in a sophisticated, modern package.

Flutter Lyon is on a courageous mission to redefine the role of the modern artist, establish an innovative business model and inspire others through her charismatic, honest and unique sensibility, as an artist and as a human being.
