Dena Johns

Jesus is my Lord and friend and I consider Him the most important relationship in my life. I love to spend time with Him by reading His Word, spending time in prayer, journaling, and by listening to worship music. I am also a wife and helpmeet to my husband, Mike. We have four children together that teach me more than they will ever know. I am a homemaker that struggles to keep on top of the housework, a homeschool teacher and nature lover. However, when I say I love nature, that doesn't mean I like to be surrounded by bugs, ha! I enjoy the BEAUTY in nature. And, I am enjoying nature journaling in the process. I love to read and I love to learn. I struggle with balance, time management, and sometimes self-discipline in my life. The Lord continues to reveal new things to me that I need to work on and He helps me change and grow. I pray often that I will be the best wife, mom, and homeschool teacher that I can be. I know I am a work in progress! My hope is that I may help give my family the love and encouragement they need to soar on wings as eagles! I also hope to be used by the Lord to encourage others as we walk this journey of life together.
