Flynn Dovey

Canberra, Australia

Flynn originally studied Media/Multimedia Design and created short films and multimedia pieces. After realising that being a documentary sound engineer would not actually pay the bills, she was distracted by a rewarding career in local and international aid. Flynn has held a love of interiors and design for most of her life, and has spent ten years moving houses and redecorating. Each home requires more space to fit her growing collection of children and chairs (mid-century modern gets her every time). After contemplating a move to the world of interior design for far too long she decided to see if the saying ‘If you love what you do you never work a day in your life’ holds true. Flynn lives in a sunny house in Ainslie with her partner, two boys, a dog, a cat and a vegetable garden.
