FNS 2013

Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Ms. Lewis and I am the First Nations studies teacher. I have created a pretty exciting, fun and hands on program that all grades 6 & 7 students will take as part of the exploration rotation during the school year. The program is successful because it not only supports the Aboriginal learner but it increases all grade 6 & 7 students’ knowledge and respect for Aboriginal histories and culture. First Nations Studies has shown to make a difference in the school culture by creating an inclusive atmosphere which celebrates Aboriginal cultural diversity.
