FOI Studios

We are FOI Studios, an independent creative studio in Kolkata, India. Founded by photographer, filmmaker and composer Sourish Mukherjee in 2017, we began as Face of India. We create photography, films, music and visual stories shaped by emotion, light and memory.

Our public journal brings together artist stories, production notes and a free community. FOI Boudoir Magazine presents our cinematic fashion and fine art photography, while FOI.ONE houses complete collections and films for adult members, with access determined by membership tier. FOIVERSE shares the making of the work, including set builds, lighting and analogue processes.

For brands, FOI Studios Commercial creates commissioned photography, campaigns and films. Through FOI Music, we produce original songs and soundtracks connected to our visual worlds. Our wider creative activities also include FOI Hiphop.

We keep our work connected to its records. Our September 2026 archive update documents 77 named model records in the wider directory. A separate archive covering November 2018 to November 2025 contains 296 collection folders across seven tiers, representing 56 named models alongside collections with protected identities.

In August 2026, we introduced The Hundredth Chamber, our 100th project, featuring Aayu Choudhary, Swapna Halder, Poulomi and Debpriya across twelve sets.
