Folake Bridget Idowu

Folake Idowu post registration spent five years with William Harvey Hospital in Ashford as clinical pharmacist and provided health care professionals with a broad spectrum of guidance and advice. The experience she gained included dispensing medications while ensuring that applicable clinical governance and compliance standards were met both on medical and surgical wards.

Folake Bridget Idowu guides Grand Healthcare UK, Ltd., as managing director and has more than 15 years of experience in her field. Starting as a pharmacist in 2000, she grew into a position involving leadership of pharmacists' and support staff. In addition to oversight of the full range of pharmacy operations as superintendent, Folake Bridget Idowu held responsibilities for retail store management.

She completed a bachelor of pharmacy at Nigeria’s Obafemi Awolowo University and subsequently passed the registration exam of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. She holds qualifications as an independent prescribing pharmacist from the Medway School of Pharmacy in Chatham. Beyond work, she harbours a longstanding passion for music and particularly enjoys dancing and singing gospel.
