Detroit Schools Win Honors in the Academic Activities Leagues of America Competition

Schulze Elementary, representing the Detroit Schools, has won several awards, in this years Academic Games Leagues of America Competition. The elementary school had several groups competing in the Academic Games Leagues of America Competition. Both team and individual awards received for performance. The teams have won state awards at the Michigan League of Academic Games competition held in Grand Rapids and the Academic Games Leagues of America Competition held in Eatonton, Georgia. Three awards were received by teams in their state level, Team Unbelievable, Team Unpredictable, and Team Small Wonders. Staff Unknown people were Tierra Netherlands, Kiara Chatman, Toria Holland, Ahmed Patterson, and Chaves Wesley. Group Amazing people were Dantez Boykin, DLante Boyce, Anesha Hamlin, Noble Maxwell, and BheAnna Thomas. Team Little Miracles group captain was Kambria Chatman.

Group Volatile is the State Champions in the Wff deborah Proof Game, First Place in the Primary Division in the On-Words Game, Third Position in the Primary Division in the On-Sets Game and Honorable Mention in Propaganda. Team Amazing won Second Place in Simple Division for the On-Words Game and Group Small Miracles won First Place in Simple Department for the Minor Equations Game. Staff Unpredictable went on to compete and win many awards at the Academic Games Leagues of America Competition. Team awards were won by them in the following: Second Position in On-Sets Game and Wff d Proof Game, Third Position in Total and Propaganda Math, and Second Position in Best Total Team within the Elementary Department. Team Unpredictable team members also received some individual honors. Inside the Wff deborah Proof Game the Initial Position Individual winner was Tierra Netherlands and the Second Place Person winner was Chaves Wesley.
