MANIFESTO FOR FOMSSA MAMA

Dear fellow FOMSSITES,

My name is PETER GIFT CHIDERA, popularly known as FOMSSA MAMA.

I am honored to be running for the position of Faculty Vice President (002) in our faculty with the slogan, PRODUCTIVE DEPUTIZATION. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve as a leader who can bring about positive change and improve the quality of education for all my fellow students.

As 002, I pledge to uphold the following values and principles:

1. PROMOTING STUDENT EMPOWERMENT: As the Faculty Vice President, I will prioritize the needs of students and work towards ensuring student happiness and success. I believe in student empowerment and with that, I will advocate for implementing programs and policies that will help students achieve their goals and aspirations in life beyond the academic walls.

2. IMPROVEMENT OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMS: Our faculty is known for its academic excellence, but I believe there is still room for improvement in the different departments especially as I seek to partner with department leaders to enhance the inclusiveness of all students in the faculty in development initiatives.

3. PROMOTING EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION: Communication is the key to the success of any group or organization. My goal is to establish a better communication channel between students across the various departments in the faculty to foster a harmonious working relationship. This will involve setting up a platform where students can submit their feedback, suggestions or grievances, and get a prompt response.

4. COLLABORATION AND PARTNERSHIPS: I believe that networking and partnership are vital elements for success. Therefore, as Faculty Vice President, I will work towards forging partnerships with external educational institutions, school community and industry players of different departments to bring in resources and opportunities to our faculty.

5. ETHICAL AND ACCOUNTABLE LEADERSHIP: As a leader, I will be accountable and transparent about my leadership actions and decisions. I will establish and uphold ethical standards, promote integrity, and maintain a high level of professionalism in the affairs of our beloved faculty.

In conclusion, I believe that I have the passion, drive and leadership skills to make a positive impact as the Faculty Vice President. With your trust and and support, together, we can make an enabling environment that is conducive to learning and excellence.
