Abdirahman Digaale (born February 28, 1998), known professionally as Fonduewah, is a Somali content creator, youth activist, and podcast host based in the United States. He is noted for his role in co-founding a youth-led organization in Maine and for his work promoting cultural events within the Somali community.
Early life and education
Fonduewah was born on February 28, 1998, in Ifo, Kenya.His family migrated to the United States when he was five years old, settling in Lewiston, Maine.He attended Longley Elementary School and later graduated from Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School in Pennsylvania.
Career
In 2019, Fonduewah co-founded TheTeam207, a youth-led group that organizes cultural events in Maine, including African Night celebrations.He has collaborated with non-profit organizations such as Gateway Community Services and the Maine Youth Network to support youth programs and community initiatives.
Fonduewah is also the host of the podcast Sheeko with Bright Minds, available on Apple Podcasts, which features conversations with young leaders and creatives from the Somali diaspora.
